Day 617: Today marks the halfway point for Bilbo’s treatment. We’ve been fighting cancer for 617 days and I write this post with mixed emotions.

Day 617: Today marks the halfway point for Bilbo’s treatment. We’ve been fighting cancer for 617 days and I write this post with mixed emotions.
Day 529: Grief, this isn’t just any grief, it is a confused, upside down version of it because whilst I am grieving so is the whole world.
Day 481: We’re currently in cycle 3 of 11 maintenance cycles. And our end of treatment date is set for 18th March 2022 this is what maintenance looks like.
I think we’ve been riding high on the back of the most amazing Christmas where cancer was not welcome. And we got complacent.
2019 has been the year of two halves, it has been the toughest of my life, but it has also seen me learn so much and make many happy memories.
To mark Thanksgiving we felt it right to mark the occasion by sharing how thankful we are, to everyone who has been there for us during the last 394 days.
Today has been one of those dream like days. We had no idea what to expect, it far exceeded our expectations and Tom Hardy who wouldn’t want to meet him?
Cancer has robbed so much from us over the last year and now it is all about taking back control.
Day 360: I’m finding that as we edge closer to our cancer anniversary (5 days time) i’m back riding the rollercoaster of highs and lows again.
