#hats4refugees Campaign
I’m kicking off a #hats4refugees campaign. We’ve all been enjoying the lovely warm weather. I know i’ve made sure my kids are covered in sun cream and wearing hats.
Across Europe summer will bring long hot days, so imagine living in the blistering sun in a tent and all you had to protect your kids was a piece of cardboard. I saw whole families like this…walking along the road in Lesvos just outside camp Moria.

Imagine you had to rummage in the bin for a piece of cardboard to protect your family from the blazing heat?
I know for a fact everyone has a hat they don’t wear, that doesn’t fit or is just sitting gathering dust or moth balls. How about putting that hat to good use. SEND IT TO ME!!! And I will send it on to the team at Humans4Humanity who will get them distributed to the people who need them.
#hats4refugees
I will take all hats, all sizes, all brands – if any of you have corporate branded hats I WILL TAKE THEM!!! Hats you’ve grown out of, hats you never wear. I only ask that they clean and in good condition.
I will be doing one collection on Friday 11th May for the first delivery and a second collection on Friday 25th May for the second delivery.
You can drop the hats off to me, you can post hats to me or if you’re local to Milton Keynes I can possibly collect.
Would you like to collect hats at your work, local nursery or school? I can provide you with a poster you can customise.
DOWNLOAD THE POSTER

Feel free to download and print, or I can provide you with a copy.
Thank you for your ongoing support!
I am now writing this post after returning but I do hope that the stories i’m telling might make you consider donating to my new campaign. The money will all go to Humans4Humanity to keep those running costs paid for. As of 1st May H4H have received £3001 in total. Future donations will be documented on my GoFundMe page.
