The Godbers Travel: Our Story
The Godbers Travel: Our Story
Every story has a beginning, middle and end and this is where The Godbers Travel journey begins…
Richard and I met in September 2010 on the beautiful white island of Ibiza. For our first few years together we tried to make every vacation count, we travelled to some beautiful destinations including Kuala Lumpar, Langkawi, Singapore, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and LA to name a few.

Great Ocean Road, California 2012
In 2013 we welcomed our first son Bilbo into the world and we knew travel would never be the same again. The Godbers Travel was born

Bilbo’s first overseas trip – Dominican Republic 2014
We celebrated our wedding in September 2015 and we couldn’t imagine our honeymoon without Bilbo, we jetted off to Koh Lak in Thailand and had the most wonderful 2 weeks (full review coming soon).
In July 2016 our second little boy Harrison made a VERY late appearance.
Harrison got the travel bug at just 5 weeks old when we popped our AirBnB cherry in Cornwall.
And that brings me to the present day we are now a family of four with a whole wide world to explore. I want to capture our experiences so that our boys have a living breathing record of all the places we chose as a family to visit. I also hope that other families might read our blog and feel inspired to travel too and if you are a mummy or daddy who enjoys travelling with your children and you have some top tips I’d love to hear them.
Thank you for reading and being part of the middle part of our story…
OMG this brings a lump to my throat!! So glad to meet you xx
Awww thank you! And great to meet you virtually too.
Your boys are adorable! We have 4 kids and are traveling the Americas this year! It’s not as easy as couple travel but so worth it!
WOW 4 children that is immense I look forward to following your journey.
What a lovely start to a travelling lifestyle your boys already have. We have four children. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures!
Thanks Samantha – I will be sure to check out your blog.
